My name is Madison Howeller. I am a native Floridian and Volusia County resident. I come from a family of attorneys. My mom, Sara, has her own law firm and my brother, Dylan, is a Public Defender in Seminole County. I grew up in courtrooms and helping my mom with her practice.
I attended Oviedo High School before going on to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising at the University of Central Florida. After undergrad, I moved to Chicago to work in the advertising industry, but quickly realized that my purpose was not to make rich people richer through advertising, but to help people who need it.
About Madison Howeller
I came back to Florida and attended Barry Law in Orlando, where I had the opportunity to participate in internships right here in Central Florida. I excelled in my writing courses, earned several "Book Awards" and worked for my Research and Writing Professor. I graduated in the top ten of my class in December 2020 and sat for and passed the Florida Bar Exam in 2021.
After a brief bit of traveling, I began working at the Seminole County State Attorney's Office where I gained undeniable experience and made lifelong friends. I was quickly thrown into the courtroom and participated in trials and hearings. While I loved the people and experience I had there, I always felt I was on the "wrong" side. My passion is to help people and fight for their rights. One major benefit is that I know the ins-and-outs of how the State Attorney's Office works. I know the process, how offers are created, and (most importantly) what the Assistant State Attorneys have to do on their side.
After my experience at the State Attorney's Office, I decided to branch out on my own, which brings us here. If you have a criminal case pending in Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns, Brevard, Seminole, or Orange County, I'd be happy to provide you with a free 15 minute consultation.
